The Chapel - Hereworth School

The school was established in 1927 with the amalgamation of Heretanga School (Hastings) and Hurworth School (Whanganui), becoming ‘Hereworth’. The Anglican chapel, an iconic part of the school, was gifted by the HB Williams family in memory of their son who was killed in action in World II. It was opened in 1960.
